Today on the show, I'm speaking with the co-founder of Odell, Lindsay Holden.

In 2020, Lindsay, alongside her co-founder's Brita and Shannon, set out to disrupt the

hair care space with the launch of their clean, inclusive, and salon-grade hair care brand, O'Dell.

Derived from the Norwegian phrase for, to share, O'Dell can be used by anyone who shares a shower, no matter their age or gender.

And despite launching amid a global pandemic, the company is a certified hit and reached profitability in the first six

months of business.

Today, the line consistently donates to charitable organizations, has earned accolades from publications like

Cosmopolitan and Women's Health and is on shelves at CVS, Ulta, and Target.

But, before getting Odell on major retailer shelves, Lindsay actually worked on the other

side. In fact, she spent eight years working at Target in various buyer and merchandising manager roles within

domestics and home learning firsthand what makes a great product. And even

before that she spent her early career as an account manager, first at the mattress company

CERDA, and later at Image Licensing Business Corbus.
