So the Mets have two wins in a row under their belt after a 12 game losing streak, but we find

out that Francisco Lendor is going to be out longer than Juan Soto, and it didn't sound good

at all from Carlos Mendoza or Francisco Lindoor, so we know that we're not going to see him for

a while.

All right, so Bobbacheb play shortstop.

Bob Bouchet gets a big hit last night. Juan Soto's back in the lineup. They're 2 and 0 without Lindor in the lineup. And they're 0 and 12 without Soto. Well, I mean, Lindor was in the lineup. He got hurt. Yeah. Yeah. So you're telling me that just have him not come back the rest of the year?

No, I'm not saying that, but I'm saying that I think the team can endure because he hadn't been doing much.

He had started to come out of it a little bit because he had that three-run Homer in the first game against the twins.

But they do have a legit shortstop, and all of a sudden that shortstop's playing shortstop, but the next thing you know is getting big hits. Yeah, I mean, defensively, they're going to be a butcher shop now in the infield, unfortunately, outside of Simeon. Well, because Boba Chet was one of the worst defensive short stops in baseball last year. You still have Mark Vientos over there at first base with Polanco out, and Vientos doesn't know what the hell he's doing. And Brett Bady is essentially, I mean, he's not a great defender. That's for sure. So that's that's a problem. I mean, Lindor's had his, his like, mental issues, but you take him out of that infield. I mean, they get a lot worse defensively. I know, but you know what's going to happen with all these guys now? They're all going to settle in. They're going to know that they're going to play for the next month or so.

positions that they're made with the exception of Viantos, who by the way is another athlete that

spends a lot of time on the ground at first base.

he told me my high school football coach, or Jerry Claiborne, or Bobby Ross, or Sam Weish.

One of them used to say, get off the ground. And they used to yell at the linemen all the time. Yeah, can't be a great athlete if you're laying on the ground, right? Unless somebody, unless you're a guy steamrolling a guy on the ground, you end up on the ground with him. Yeah. But yeah, we see a lot of that. I mean, nobody has been on the ground more than Evan Neal over the years. And I think to Carl Anthony Towns is a close second. And Mark Vientos is making a case. It seems like it. By the way,

just going into day two of the draft, the Jets have five picks left, starting with number 44, 103, 148, 228, and 242.

And I think the Giants have six picks left, which is 37, 105, 145, 186, 192, and 193.
