Hey everybody welcome back to another bald move prestige podcast today we're going to be talking about the 2012 movie Lincoln

Which is not quite beginning close to its 10-year anniversary

This is of course directed by the Great Stephen Spielberg.

The screenplay was written by Tony Kushner.

It was based on Doris Kearns Godwin, who is a Pulitzer Prize winning historian, her book, Team of Rivals that's based on

Lincoln's Rise to Power as President, the Republican Rivals rivals he defeated in the election of

1860 and him incorporating them into his cabinet and taking these diverse

fractious lot of men and welding them into an effective cabinet.

And it goes right up into his assassination.

This movie, well I guess it stars because I'm just rare to talk about this movie. It

stars Daniel Day Lewis. You know Jim and I are slowly collecting all of his

Pantheon this is another one he plays president Abraham Lincoln also

star Sally Field you'll know her from if you're an old-time bald mover her work in

Gidget and Sybil she's in smoking the bandit she's also younger people recognize

her as Forrest Gump's mom and Mrs.

Doubtfire. The mom on Mrs. Doubtfire. Also features David Strathern.

We've seen him most recently as the dynamic class cl Ashford the ghost knife from the expanse

Tommy Lee Jones we know Tommy Lee Jones and his craggy face of course putting in a

Craig hall of crag performance in this dude
