Summary

This week on Limited Resources Marshall and Luis enter the fray in not one but two full drafts of The Last Airbender! The guys do a premier draft and a traditional draft on Arena and walk you through their thought process every pick of the way. The two decks end up on different ends of the spectrum, but as always there's a lot to learn from any draft!

Welcome to another episode of limited resources.

0:18.0

This is episode number 833.

0:23.5

My name is Marshall. I'm one-year limited resources.

0:28.2

And joining me on the line all the way from Denver, Colorado. It's Louis Scott Vargas.

0:30.8

Luis, did you get a chance to watch Worlds at all?

0:55.1

I did. I tuned in for Derek Davis's draft on day two. And that was a pretty rough one, not going to lie. He, uh, I think props to him for making top eight and going two on with that deck. That deck was not, uh, he didn't have a smooth draft. Um, you know, it was a bumpy ride. I certainly would have diverged from what he did to a degree. And I know you and Paul were pretty surprised by some of the picks, um, but I also think he wasn't going to have a fantastic deck from pretty much any point in that seat. It was just a rough seat

to be in. And he did play quite well when I watched him play. So I watched basically that whole

draft. And then that was about it. It's it's tough on the weekends to watch too much with the kids.

1:09.2

And then also, you know, half the time I really like the kids. And then also,

1:12.0

you know,

1:14.1

half the time I really like the commentary.

1:14.5

So.

1:17.0

Yeah.

1:17.3

It was,

1:20.5

it was an eventful limited weekend,

1:21.2

no doubt about it.

1:22.1

I mentioned it before,

1:23.3

but we had limited at Worlds. And it took up a large percentage.

1:26.3

More important.

1:26.8

Limited.

1:27.1

Yeah, exactly. Because they cut two rounds of constructed because worlds was a little bit smaller. So as a result, it was six rounds of limited eight standard instead of 10, which means that relatively limited is, as it should be, more important. Yes, indeed. Wow. Not more important overall, more important than it used to be, I guess. Yeah. We'll have to wait on the all limited event. That's coming. It's coming. The limited championship is hoping to be there at least. Yeah, yeah. So lots of great stuff over the course of the weekend, but it's time for us to focus back in on the last Airbender Limited. And with that in mind, we're going to be doing our draft walkthrough this time.
