722. My name is Marshall. I'm one of your limited resources and joining me on the

line all the way from his vintage cube layer in Denver, Colorado. It's Louis Scott Vargas.

Louis, you popped your head up from your from the mines just long enough to do a show with us.

Oh, yeah. I mean, I've been hard at work here and it's been great. I mean, I'm getting to play

vintage cube all the time as just kind of a dream. I mean, can you imagine like what the hell,

man? You you're you're literally somehow finagled yourself into a position where your

job is to do money drafts of vintage cube all day. Like what? How did you do that? Like, I feel

like you should be, you know, standing in front of a group of students being like, here's how to

achieve your dreams, kids. Didn't you just do that and they kind of no sold you? I did. I actually did,

yeah. And that didn't happen. But I think it's a it's a combination. Look, this is this is what I

would say, almost anyone who is in a successful position really should be able to kind of understand.

And especially when you're trying to talk to other people, it's always a combination and the

proportions can be different of the right time, the right place, luck, effort, skill, all of those

things go together. Like, I mean, take limited resources. You and Ryan started at the right time.

Yeah. There was no competition. You were like, maybe I don't know. I don't want to say

literally the first magic podcast because I mean, who knows? But it were basically one of,

if not the first among the first and you made something people liked and you were good at it.

So that's the skill part. And you showed up every week. You're at the right place, right time

and with the right consistency. And there's all those things go together. A lot of people who are

successful in any sort of like media capacity or even a company that's just making things,

they were successful in part because they started before other people. They got first or early
