What is up?

0:27.0

What is up everybody? Welcome to another episode of limited resources. This episode number 466. My name is Marshall. When you're limited resources and joining me on the line nine time pro tour top a competitor, Louise Scott Vargas.

0:31.1

Louise, you're back home man.

0:34.2

Yeah, yeah, certainly I'm, uh, I was, if I were anyone who watched or listened to the broadcast, I was kind of sick, uh,

0:40.5

as dilemma, but, you know, but that I also was playing pretty sick so I guess that balanced

0:47.4

out you really were and we have to talk about that man for people that don't

0:51.3

watch the broadcast Luis made his ninth pro tour 8, made it all the way to the finals, made it all the way to game five of the finals, and then God, you just got hit with some bad luck and had to mulligan to four and couldn't win that game.

1:04.4

Dude, I have to like I commented it. We talked about it after but like, how are you?

1:09.6

Like that was that sucked so bad. So I'm very happy with the fact that I got second at the pro tour.

1:16.7

I mean it's worth a lot of money, a bunch of pro points, it also, you know, lets people know that I still kind of know what I'm talking about and can play magic.

1:23.4

Big guys still got it. But second hurts like more than any other finish.

1:30.3

So even though it's a better finish than like, you know, eighth or fifth or seventh or whatever because at this point I've actually gotten

1:36.6

experience all the ranges of the top eight finishes and the two second places now that I have

1:42.1

Those are the ones that sting.

1:43.6

So I lost in game five to Tennessee in Kyoto about a decade ago and then of course just this

1:49.1

last weekend to Andrew.

1:51.3

And yeah, because when you're second, especially since I've again gone to gain five and every single time, it's like you can feel it, you can, you know you're just a game away.

1:59.0

And when you're losing in the quarters of the semis, You never really feel like you're that close

2:02.9

because you have to win that whole match

2:04.4

that you lost and another match or two matches.

2:06.8

But, so obviously I'm like disappointed about that

2:11.3

and nothing is really gonna erase that barring some Kai-esque run of winning a bunch in a row.
