Summary

This week on Limited Resources Marshall and Luis talk about mana curves and how they differ between archetypes. They also preview three exclusive cards from Eternal Masters, and they are sweeet.

Aggro deck suggested curve:

1-Drops: 0-3? [If good ones in format, etc.] - Don't make the common mistake of adding bad 1's. We are talking Thraben Inspector, not Kitesail Scout.

2-Drops: 6+

3-Drops: 4+

4-Drops: 4-

5-Drops: 2-

6+Drops: 0

Control:

Creatures

1-Drops: 0 (if you find good 1's, sure, but you don't need any)

2-Drops: 2-4 (in SOI, fewer. These also need to defend you - 2/1 flying can't block is NOT a card). Ideally these are useful in the lategame too.

3-Drops: 4-6 (lean towards defense)

4-Drops: 4-5 (still want blockers - but cards that can win games are still good. Solitary Hunter is a fine card)

5-Drops: 2-4 [Here is where you start leaning towards ways to win, since 5's aren't the most reliably defense)

6+Drops: 1-3+ [Finishers]

0:19.0	episode number 338. My name is Marshall. I'm one of your limited resources and joining me on the line back home in Denver, Colorado. It's Louise, Scott Vargas.

0:31.0	My flight home was great. We just came back from Los Angeles where we had a very good show.
0:36.5	Yeah, we did. So we were doing coverage at G.P. L.A. Both Louise and I, as well as Gabby and Huey and yeah it was a really great weekend for coverage
0:46.1	I was quite proud actually getting on that airplane about the job that we did and I think
0:51.2	it was also just one of the most enjoyable events I had coverage wise.
0:56.0	Yeah, definitely. I had a great time all weekend.
0:59.0	The only downside is I have to figure out how my new camera works but I'll get it.
1:05.0	Oh man, you know they put up a picture of Dack Faden like 10 minutes after my camera got stolen and he he just looks at me and looks at it and I'm just like he's like too soon I'm like whatever that was my preview card for internal masters.
