Pretty good. We've got kind of a cool show today. It's episode number 22, so we're kind of old hats at this now.

We've got a few listener questions, we've a crack a pack, and our main topic,

we're going to talk about something that Wizards uses in development, right, right?

Yes. Called pointing or a point system?

So basically it's the idea of assigning a numerical value to each of the cards in a set and then they use that during the development of the set, not the design, right, with the development.

Design is not too concerned with power level and correct costing.

They're about the mechanics and ideas and creating the flavor, the flavor that's more creative but anyway

so and design is coming up with the cohesive concepts of the mechanics of the set and then development

test the hell out of them and tries to make sure nothing is broken and that particularly

that limited environments are fun and balanced.

Good. And one of the tools that they used to do is this point system.

And what we're going to do is there was a, a quiz, I guess, a challenge or whatever on the mothership on witsers.com on Magic

the Gather.com that had you assign these point values to a bunch of cards and we're going to do that after the break.

Because we get to compare it to what the people at Wizards who actually know assign their numbers and we don't know what they've done yet because they're not going to post that up until the end of the week.
