Hey, it's a pleasure to be here.

Layton. And I hear some cool things are happening in your life, in your world. I saw on Twitter

that you're going to be going to Mid America. Tell us a little bit about that. Yes, I am. After

18 years of teaching at Southwestern Seminary, I have a new gig, so to speak, or a new opportunity.

August 1st, I began to serve at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee.

I am the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Practical Theology at Dingman of the Adrian Rogers Center for Preaching.

And so I'm very excited about that.

I'll be this first year.

I'll be teaching D.M.N. and Ph.D. students.

I'll have a number of them.

And I'll be up on campus periodically, preaching in chapel and making some decisions and plans regarding how we might relaunch that Adrian Rogers Center for preaching there with preaching conferences and workshops and a host of other things involved.

I'll still be living in Dallas, though, and running preaching coach here, but I'll be in Memphis quite a bit

as well during the year. Awesome. Well, congratulations on that new appointment, and I know that

the Lord will bless not only your life being part of Mid-America, but Mid-America is blessed

to have you as a professor, and so I wish you all the best

and pray for great successes there. I know the students will enjoy working with you, as I've

enjoyed working with you over the years as well. For those that aren't familiar with the series

that we've gone through, the proof text series.
