Now that we've defined how to create powerful goals, this leads us to a place where most

people find a little discomfort and that sadly keeps many of them from living their best

lives.

I'm talking about step number three.

Embrace discomfort.

Now before I get into the details of this step, I want to spend a few minutes talking

about endurance runners.

Now as someone who's run some half marathons, I have a huge amount of respect for runners

who run a full 26.2 miles, which is the distance of the full marathon.

I can't even imagine running some of those ultra-marathons where athletes run 50 miles,

100 miles, even more.

Or what about Iron Man triathlons, where they run a marathon and then swim a couple
