Lily Barana, welcome to the program. I'm delighted to be here. Yes, people don't understand that we actually have a confetti cannon for Jesus here.

What did you say? Can we pull that to a confetti cannon for Jesus? Exactly. Yes. And we're not ashamed of it. The confetti cannon. I mean, okay.

So look, you wrote this book called Grace for Amateurs. You talk about field notes on a journey back to faith. Your story is wild. We talked about it in the last hour.

You raised in a wonderful home, but you dealt with incredible depression. You did for most people would be the unthinkable. You were in a life of stripping, which to most people, they can't even do like what?

What? Because you're so articulate and so wonderful and bizarre. So you come out of that. You get married to this wonderful West Point man.

And yet the depression still lingers and you talked about how in 2011 you had this outrageous miracle. So let's just go back to the point of so suddenly, you're convinced God has spoken to you through this bald eagle.

Right. And I don't mean that the eagle spoke, but I mean by seeing an eagle where you don't expect to see a bald eagle after having just prayed that God would infect save your life by showing you that he cares by showing you a bald eagle.

So this happens. What do you do? You go to church, you start reading the Bible. What do you do? Do you tell your husband, you tell your friend?

Well, I was on my way to meet my friend Laurie for lunch when I had the experience seeing the eagle. So I walked into the restaurant, probably looking like I had just been speaking of can. It's just been shot out of a cannon because I'm sure I was completely just insane.

Yeah. So I had told her what had happened. And she said, you know, I have to be honest. I'm not a person who believes in signs, but I'd say that's a sign.

So kind of having somebody who's worldly spiritual, but not a Jesusy person kind of give me the azmuth test that this is what I think it is.

So what test? Oh, I'm sorry, it's a military thing. It's an azmuth test. We talked about that later. Yeah.

Azmuth, Azmuth, Azmuth. Yes. Most people don't know that. Why know how to spell it? Spelling. I know how to spell it, but I don't know what it means. The azmuth test.

I don't know. There's just a military thing. I'm sure it's some metric for something that is not pursuant to our lives. Our audience were just going to say litmus test.
