How's it going Mark?

Pretty good. How's Japan treating you so far?

Well, I love Japan. I went to high school here for two years because my father was in the Navy

So my son, Sammy Jr. and senior year, I went to Yokohama High

Wow, and can you speak Japanese?

I spoke much better then when it was the necessity

The problem is if you don't keep up, you forget most of it

Right

And what was interesting is before we got on base housing, we lived among the Japanese

So we had to fend for ourselves. I learned more in the first summer I was here

Then you go on base and you never have to speak it again

So I mean, I took four years of high school and college Spanish
