He has gone off the side of the cliff and needs to find a spot to land. He chooses a rooftop nearby and makes a safe landing. The other goats are surprised ad happy. Lightfoot is growing each day and feels that he is bigger and able to do more. He is eating the paper off a tin can on the trolley tracks when he hears the clanging of the bells coming. He isn’t finished so he doesn’t move until the trolley bumps him out of the way. He gets up shaken and realizes that he needs to be more careful. 1:39.0	Today we are going to continue our story about a leaping goat called Lightfoot. He got his name from the way he jumps.
1:52.0	Lightfoot is a young goat who wants to go up onto the rocks and eat the tender grass that the older goats are eating.
2:03.0	He gets up there but finds out that the older goats don't want the young goats eating their sweet grass.
2:12.0	At the end of the last chapter, Lightfoot had made it to the top of the rocks and was enjoying some sweet grass when Mr. Sharphorn noticed him and started running towards him.
2:28.0	Lightfoot tried to get away from Mr. Sharphorn but had to jump off the edge of the rocks.
2:40.0	Lightfoot chapter 2
2:46.0	Mr. Sharphorn was so surprised at what Lightfoot had done in leaping over the edge of the cliff that for a second he did not know what to do.
3:00.0	Indeed, Sharphorn who was running very fast could hardly stop in time to save himself from sliding over.
3:09.0	Look out there, Lightfoot. He called. I didn't mean to make you do that. I wouldn't have hurt you very much. Why did you jump?
3:21.0	But Lightfoot could not answer now. He was falling down through the air. Indeed, he himself hardly knew why he had jumped. He almost wished he had not.
3:38.0	Far down below he saw the shanty of the widow Maloney and he saw the hard rocks and ground all around it.
