0:04.1	Esther chapter 8 verse 16. The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor. What a great verse.
0:16.0	What a great description. Like picture this scene. God's people, the Jewish people had been
0:22.1	decreed to be killed. All of the men, women, children. The king had declared their annihilation.
0:29.0	That's the word he used. And yet God intervened through Mordecai and Esther.
0:36.0	And they were saved. And here in Esther chapter 8 we see the fruit of God's salvation.
0:43.2	Light, gladness, joy and honor. On a picture of the God who is able to bring light and darkness.
0:56.4	The God who is able to turn suffering into gladness and despair into joy.
1:04.4	The God who is able to turn shame into honor. Isn't this the fruit of God's salvation in each of our lives?
1:15.0	Like we have light, Jesus, the light of the world in us. We have gladness and joy no matter what
1:24.8	this world brings us or takes away from us. We have joy even in suffering Romans chapter 5.
1:33.6	We're joyous in the Lord always Philippians chapter 4. And we have honor. We're closed in the very
1:42.0	righteousness of Jesus. We're heirs of God, coheirs with Christ. One more honor. Could we imagine?
1:52.7	So let's praise God for these things. And let's live as a reflection of these things. Oh God, we praise you
2:01.6	for bringing light, gladness, joy and honor to your people in Esther chapter 8.
2:08.7	Then we praise you for bringing light, gladness, joy and honor to us. We too deserve death.
2:15.2	We too were on a road that leads to well, eternal hell. And you have saved us. You have brought light to
2:23.4	us in this dark world. Jesus, we praise you as the Lord of our lives and the light of all life.
2:30.3	We praise you for the gladness and the joy that you have given us that nothing in this world can
2:35.7	take away from us. Can I pray that over individuals right now are walking through really hard times.
2:41.7	We're walking through dark days. Pray that you'd bring light to them in the middle of them.
2:49.3	God, pray that you'd bring gladness and joy to them in the middle of them. And in all of this
