All right, welcome to another T-Rex talk. My name is Isaac Botkin. You probably, you probably already knew that because you watch these regularly. I can tell on here that all you guys are regular viewers. And tonight, we're doing something a little bit weird for me. Lucas does this all the time. He does Q&As with no outline, no script, no prep. I almost never do that. I'm just doing it right now.

So shoot me your questions regarding night stuff. There's your budget night stuff here.

These are the super cheap PBS-31s. Over there are the slightly less cheap panos. I got a bunch

of flashlights here, optics, alternative night vision

devices, stuff like that. So since it is the month of low light October, are we going to do

no light November? That would actually be a pretty sweet thing to do with thermal imagery. No

light November. Yes, it would be hard to do with thermal imagery. No light November.

I'm very tired.

Yes, it would be hard to do it after low light October. We couldn't actually even do it.

There's actually too much light at night here. We'd have to do it inside of sewers, caves,

deep, deep, deep underground, which means we could do it during the day.

Which means you guys could go back to day shift if we found a deep enough, deep enough hole, deep underground, which means we could do it during the day. Which means you guys could go back to day shift

if we found a deep enough, deep enough hole, deep enough caverns.

So we're talking about all sorts of different tools that are useful for

seeing in the dark. We're going into wintertime.

There's a bit more dark these days, just a little bit.

And so having some extra illumination capability or some extra C in the dark capability comes in extremely handy for all kinds of activities.

You know, gardening or, you know, encouraging brand. And these sorts of things are very useful to have extra lighting capability

for when you're doing these sorts of things. So I see questions coming in here. When did Night Vision

become relevant? That's actually probably a pretty good one to start. There's not a ton of people

quite yet. Hopefully more people join. So I'll tell a long, boring story about Night Vision,

why I wait for people to show up and decide not to bail.
