Roughly 35 million Latinos will be a valid eligible to vote in the 22 US midterms.

This is according to Pew Research.

That means that black accounts for 14% of the electorate, making them the second

largest racial or ethnic group of eligible voters.

And Republicans are making big gains among both that group and black voters.

This has been happening.

It's a trend that's been going on since 2018.

Yeah.

And we're going to play an audio here of a woman who is a Texas Democrat who

explains why she switched from being a Democrat to a Republican.

And she talks about how the Democrats don't do anything for Hispanics.

And the same question would be true for black voters who have, you know,

for years and years and years, been a base of the Democrat party.

If your life isn't getting any better or your opportunities aren't getting any

better, why would you continue to vote for the same people?
