I want to talk about something that is not talked about a lot in many, many churches.

And I want to talk about mortifying the deeds of the body through the Holy Spirit.

Because I think it's so important that we have to understand what the Bible says about it.

So would you lift your hands to heaven and say, dear Lord, help me understand it and receive it in Jesus' name.

So let me begin reading myself and then I'll have Dion.

Therefore, brethren, I'm Romans 812.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors not to the flesh to live after the flesh. For if ye not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh, he shall die.

But if ye through the spirit do mortify or put to death,

the deeds of the body ye shall live.

Now, I want you to just think about these words a little bit

if ye live after the flesh ye shall die but if ye through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the

body you shall live and just think for a few moments about

this because I think this is a most important and searching portion of scripture so when

you read these words, especially verse 13,

for if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die,

but if ye through the spirit,

now notice it didn't say the spirit through you.

It says you through the spirit,
