2. If you have your Bibles, we are nearing the end of the life of David,

which makes me a little bit sad because what a life it has been.

Chapter 22 and 23 of Second Samuel are David's last words of sorts.

I always find last words or attempts to summarize some of his life or business or mission

in a sentence or two.
