Hey folks, T.C. Fleming here and you are listening to the It's Just Banter feed. However, what you're about to hear is not. It's just banter. It's the first episode of a brand new podcast that I'm doing that I'm quite excited about. It's me and my friend Alex Stevens. We met at a therapeutic boarding school for high risk adolescence. That's where I went to high school. He was there as well, and we talk about that experience.

I don't think that that's the only thing we're going to talk about over the course of, you know,

what we're doing here, but certainly the focus of the first several episodes. So we're going

pretty informal. Don't have an intro or anything, just kind of hopping into the conversation.

So you're going to hear a sound effect here here and then the podcast, and I really hope you enjoy it.

So I would like to talk, I would like to start, you know, I think this is going to be probably a lot of stories, a series of stories.

I can't wait, and I agree.

And I have a very archetypal, like, stories is something, like, telling stories is something

like evolves very naturally, like, you know, of, you can't, most, like, little kids obviously can't do it. Like, they kind of suck at it. They include a lot of details that are wrong. I mean, they do it in their own style. Like, it's got its own thing, you know, um, but, uh, there are very few toddlers in writers rooms. I agree. There you go. There you go. Um, and like, you know, so it's, it's a, it tends to be like a smooth, long evolution. And, but I do have a moment where I can recall being in a specific conversation where it's like, all right, so you want to tell the story? Here's what you got to do.

Because whenever I first arrived at it at the boarding school that we went to, the high-risk

therapeutic boarding school for high-risk adolescents that you and I both attended. My name's

T.C. Fleming. Your name is Alex Stevens. Yes, sir. Okay. Um, I, uh, I, uh, I would basically just want to like tell people about my friends

because I really missed my friends and I liked my friends. Um, and so I would, you know,

constantly being like, oh yeah, what you said, that's kind of like me and my

friend, except it didn't have like any structure.

It was just like I would just fucking like plop out this, like, memory, just all of it.

You know, it would not be in narrative form.

And, yeah, I remember where I was in the lodge

the main building of our area

where like the social things would happen

and I was sitting across the table from you

and got through with one of these like
