This is simple. I'm Tish Hawksen writer.

My friends, in this episode I'm chatting with my friend Crystal Ellifson who if you're a loyal art of simple reader you might

recognize her name. She's been a writer for the site for several years now.

What you might not know about her

about her, is that she and I grew up together in Austin. She's a few years younger than me, so I was actually her camp counselor one summer

when she was in middle school and I was in college.

It's kind of fun to think about how when you become adults,

those age differences just aren't a thing anymore you know?

Well I'm thrilled to have her on as a first regular writer turned co-host for the year.

What I'm getting at is this year my writers are also going to be my co-hosts as a way of

unifying both the blog and the podcast a lot more. I'm super, super stoked about this.

Well in this episode we are talking about what we wrote about this week. For Crystal,

she's sharing what it was like to write a play-by-play day in the life of what's otherwise a normal day for her,

except that right now she's got a three-month-old, so everything is actually different than usual.

She's got some great wisdom and perspective on that that I think will encourage a lot of you.

And then I wrote about goals versus resolutions and what I've learned worked so much better

than a New Year's resolution or even an annual goal.

And then how you can join in the fun with me this year.
