I'm so excited. And within the next few weeks, we are going to be answering the question of, well, the questions of who am I?

What do I do and what's next? And I'm really excited because as many of you guys know, I am on like episode 140 something I have been podcasting for like three going on four years now, which is absolutely crazy.

I know I have new people tuning in every single day, new people from all over the world and it's amazing. And how do you catch up on 140 something episodes? I don't know.

But I'm doing the easy work for y'all and I'm going to be playing back some old episodes. So you might hear some references from maybe before the season I'm in now. So that's just a little preface for you guys if I reference myself as unmarried.

Or in undergrad or with the last name mimic because now I'm married with the last name Kelly and I'm getting my masters.

So this is going to be a rerun of a previous episode I did, but I was listening back to this one and I just think it's going to be super encouraging and answering the question of who am I?

I know many of us are in seasons right now, maybe where you are like, God, what is my purpose? What was I created for? Who am I?

I want to know the answers to these things, especially in the season that I am now or maybe it's wrestling with identity.

You know, maybe you came out of a season or a situation where you felt like you've lost yourself and you really need to get rooted in the truth of who Christ has called you to be, who he made you to be through the sacrifice of his son on the cross.

And I'm just really excited that we are going to be answering one of life's big questions today of who am I on the topic of identity and purpose, but sit back, relax, enjoy the rerun of this old episode being compiled together.

And I hope that it ministers to you and I hope that the rest of the series continues to minister to you as next week we answer what do I do from here knowing who I am, what do I do?

Now the day that this podcast goes live, I will be walking across the stage at my university, finally receiving my diploma after being in school for basically my whole life.

So that's pretty insane to think about, but man, God is so stinking good and so faithful y'all ain't that the truth.

But as many of y'all know, I have an open inbox where you can email me your topic questions for my podcast. It's bot and beloved at gmail.com, I'll spell it out.

But this week I decided to share a quick word about something that God has been putting on my heart over the past few days in regards to identity and our view of self and who we are and where we're going.

I don't think that I am the only person who has struggled with this issue before of falling into the trap of comparing my present identity as a child of God with my past self, the person that I no longer am. You feel me on that?

The truth is we have always been and presently are God's creation. He made us for himself, but because of the father was a separation.

And it may take a little time for us to come to the realization that our true identity has always been in him and that through giving our lives over to him we get to accessible freedom.
