0:27.5	So please tell us, how did you decide to choose a career in law enforcement, first of all, and
0:32.3	then what led you when you retired to decide to write books?
0:36.4	Sure, so I grew up in New York City, I'm a Bronx kid born and raised.
0:40.0	When I was five years old, my mother used to take me to the movie theater.
0:43.0	Around the corner from the movie theater was a police station.
0:45.4	Every time I would look at the police cause I was fascinated with the cops.
0:50.4	I'd always, every little boy wants that gun.
0:52.8	So I says, there's something to this.
0:54.3	I might want to do at five years old.
0:56.0	By age 10, my friends and I used to sneak into the post office
0:59.0	and steal FBI wanted posters off the wall
