Summary

In Episode 21 of Life of the Final Messenger ﷺ, we explore the events that followed the Battle of the Trench and the siege of Banu Qurayzah. After the confederate armies withdrew from Madinah, the city finally experienced relief. However, another serious matter remained unresolved. During the siege of the Trench, the tribe of Banu Qurayzah had broken their treaty with the Muslims and sided with the enemy.Soon after the battle ended, Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ with a command from Allah to march toward Banu Qurayzah. The Muslims surrounded the fortress of the tribe, beginning a tense siege. During this time, Kaʿb ibn Asad was faced with difficult choices, while Abu Lubabah later felt deep regret for his actions and sincerely repented to Allah. Eventually, the tribe surrendered and accepted the judgment of Saʿd ibn Muʿadh. His decision brought the matter to a conclusion, restoring safety and stability to Madinah.
