Okay, we're back on the bus. We had a week off last week. Barstle Sports was quote unquote closed. I use air quotes for that because half of us seem to work the majority of the week, which is not healthy and probably worthy of its own episode.

But we're back. We've somewhat forgot how to podcast in that week, but we're doing it. I forgot my microphone today.

So for anyone listening to this apologies. We do have a killer episode. We've got three things going on. We're going to talk about headlines.

We've got Rico Bosco on the pot and one of my favorite people from barstle sports. And then as we do on Thursdays, we have our adulting segment.

So let's get into it. All right, first headline for us. So bite dance. And you may know or care about bite dance because they own this little thing called TikTok.

The Chinese government said to the founder of bite dance. Maybe bro, you don't want to go so fast on your IPO.

Their reason is that Beijing is very concerned about the data collected by tech companies like bite dance could be compromised through disclosures to US listing.

So essentially in the same way, President Trump at the time, which was about a year ago, said, hey, TikTok, you need to beat it because you're giving American data to the Chinese.

The Chinese are now saying the exact same thing. The other thing that's interesting is that Chinese authorities are considering changing their rules.

So that Chinese tech companies cannot IPO in the US. So there seems to be a lot happening here. The other thing I would add is that bite dance does not have a CFO, which just from experience I would say is helpful when you are going to go public because let's face it.

It's all about money. It's all about data and it's all about results. Sports illustrated and their famous swimsuit issue is now becoming body inclusive.

So sports illustrated much like everyone else who used to be just for men is now embracing diversity. They issued a statement about their new body inclusive swimsuit issue saying,
