Summary

Regan has some doubts about the dependability of their temporary host, Bowen Briarhelm. Meanwhile, the children get some hands-on training in the use of weapons, and a crash course in introductory magical theory from Nia. Billy grows concerned over the influence Regan may be having on Jen, but Jen still finds herself in some serious danger.

1:39.3	This platter held the beautiful bird. The bird was splayed out on the silver, as if stuffed and roasted, yet clearly still alive.
1:50.0	It lifted its graceful red and gold neck and looked directly at Brennan.
1:56.0	The bird's obsidian eyes caught Brennan's brown ones for a brief moment before the bird weakly lowered its head.
2:05.8	The girl spoke.
2:07.3	There are seven things you must know to save me.
2:10.1	The second thing is, the king has loved my enemy.
2:14.2	From the darkness behind the girl and the creature of light, a third figure materialized,
2:20.3	the nightmare demon, the indescribable horror.
