When you come to Jesus, you have this weight of sin that's taken off of you.

It's just like this supernatural, oh my gosh, I feel so much lighter.

But the majority of people stop right there and think they can go through life and live with that right there.

And they cannot.

Because if we don't learn from Jesus and understand who we truly are and your identity isn't

secure, you will have no rest for your soul.

Your mind will constantly spend.

So your soul, let's define it.

People say, well, you know, that I'm after souls. I get it. And so we want people to go to heaven is what we're saying. We want people to be in heaven. We want to depopulate hell and populate heaven. I get it. But rest for your souls is different. He's talking about your mind, your will, and your emotions being free and being saved.

Set your mind on things above and not beneath.

That's what he says.

So my mind is supposed to have rest, is supposed to have peace, is supposed to stay in that place

where I'm in this world but not of it.

Where I'm a part of this world, but I don't, my soul doesn't receive rest from what's going
