I left there feeling like I was 16 again. Here I was a senior lady and we were the

stars. First they're startled. I don't think they know what to expect you

know here come a bunch of old ladies with shiny costumes and a lot of makeup and

oh you know what are they going to do how boring this is going to be and then you know as we

start getting into it oh yeah well this is interesting gee I don't think my grandmother

could do that.

I thought it was the best thing I ever seen and I swore up and I

were up and down I was going to be a palm as soon as I could and so I retired at

62 and became a palm and I love it.

I never got to dance when I was a kid and my husband didn't dance.

So when I moved, when he died and I moved to Arizona, that's what I'm doing.

That's why I'm doing all this stuff.

I'm in everything if I can be.

So when I moved here, that's one thing, you know, I moved to, we moved here like, I think we got here like on a Thursday and on Monday I was in tap class and I was going to learn how to dance if it was the last thing I did in my life.
