Well, we start today with a little shop cleaning, if you will, at KKHI, a little inside baseball as to how this stuff all works. We've got a great podcast ahead with a wonderful guy that I went to high school with. You won't believe this story. And what he's doing now as the founder of the band that everybody in Kansas City knows, the M80s. We'll get to that in the moment, but we're putting this up early. The chief schedule's

coming out, depending on when you listen to this, whatever. I'll get something up on Friday or

this weekend regarding the chief schedule. I had hoped to talk with Stan Weber at some point

and connect with him and do something on the chief schedule, but you're just absolutely not going to

believe this. You're going to love it. Stan is on the first, with his wife, the first vacation they've ever taken that didn't involve a family event, like a wedding or a K-State sports event. I've always teased Stan. You ever going to take vacation? He goes, why would I take vacation? I love work, everything we do. It's, you know, a family event of some sort or a K-State event, and it's great, and they've been to all

kinds of places doing both, and it's awesome. I thought, I had lined Stan, I said, Stan, hey, when May comes around and the chief schedule comes out, you'll come on and we'll do the chief schedule thing, right? I'm not sure that's going to happen. I don't know when he's coming back.

And I'm not going to tell you anything, but it's just personal and private vacation. I'm not sure that's going to happen. I don't know when he's coming back.

A couple of weeks ago, I sat down with a man named Kurt Whitaker. He's the founder of the cover

band in Kansas City, six-time voted best band in Kansas City, the M80s. They're an awesome band. They play all kinds of great

music from the 80s. You've likely seen them if you were out at a restaurant sometime or doing

something. They've traveled all over the Midwest. They used to do well over 100 shows a year.
