I had a seven-year-old cousin, she got killed by a drunk driver, a drunk driver here

in Alexander City, Alabama, and they killed my cousin.

And my cousin went to the hospital and we found out my cousin was brain dead and my

grandmother took her off of the life support machine and I can remember the day that I

walked in the hospital.

And soon as we walked in that hospital, I saw my grandma walking towards us and she

had these dreadful steps and her eyes were swollen like baseball bats and I never forget

this.

Now this might not be your cousin but you might have somebody in your family that you

didn't get the opportunity to tell them that you appreciate them.

You might have somebody in your family that you didn't get the opportunity to redeem

yourself and let that past stuff go and tell them that you love them.

This is the opportunity that you want to forgive someone and you going to get up and

go tell them that you appreciate their existence because I didn't get that opportunity

to see my last seven-year-old cousin grow up and go to the prom.

I didn't get that opportunity to see my cousin grow up and write her book, live her dream,

get married, have her first child.

So I wrote the quote I appreciate your existence because when I went to the funeral my

little cousin had flowers everywhere and I asked my grandma why did you buy more flowers

for her dead than when she was alive.

This ain't motivation man, this is my real life.
