I'm Mama Jules, and let's start with a throwback of sorts.

Jared Fogo, you might not remember his name,

but Jared was the front man of a wildly successful subway

sandwich ad campaign that lasted 15 years.

You might remember, he's the guy who lost all that weight eating subway sandwiches for every

meal and he turned that into a career and then he destroyed that career when he

was found guilty of sex crimes. All right, here's the story.

Jared was born August 23rd of 1977 in Indianapolis and he had a very

unremarkable life growing up. He's Jewish, she's got a younger brother and a

sister and a two-parent home. He had a safe middle American upbringing,

except he slowly packed on the weight.
