All right, welcome in.

We've got another edition of the sort of named Warchamp baseball podcast, Hot Corner with

Chris and Corey.

It's Chris Chavez and Corey Clark.

There's so many Cs there that we can come up with something clever.

Right now it's the hot corner because we're both hot.

And not because of third base or anything like that because Chris was a pitcher and I didn't

play at any real level.

But so we get into the what happened this weekend, Chris.

And were you, did you play?

How long did you play with J.D. Drew?

We came in together.

Actually, J.D.

he makes us freshman.

So I played with J.D. all through his career, and then I played a couple years after him.

So I believe there was a play when J.D. was a junior and clearly the best player in the country,

where he collided with Brooks Bado, the shortstop, right? And Badoe might have broken his leg?

He did. He did.

And I remember there was a quote that Brooks Bedou had,

which says everything about him.

He's like, I'm glad it was me and not JD about breaking his leg,

which is an incredible thing to say.
