I'm a person of faith. I have for my whole life, prayed.

What I think I got wrong about prayer, but was acutely person of faith. I have for my whole life, prayed. What I think I got wrong about prayer,

but was acutely aware of in a season of going through harder things, is that your prayers being

made and them being answered in the way that you'd like are two completely different things.

And so many of the things that I'd prayed for were absolutely delivered to me.

I just didn't like that I was inconvenienced by them being disconnected from how I wish they would have

been answering. Right. Like I've become in so many ways, the person I'd pray I would have become,

I just wished it would have happened with a different delivery mechanism.

And that's not the way the prayer works, or that's not the way life works.

And so if you cast a vision for who you want to be, you know, you've got a sense of what it would

mean to you to get to that next level, and adversity comes knocking at the door.

It's likely that you are being offered that opportunity to become this thing that you've hoped for.

It's just going to be an inconvenient delivery mechanism that you maybe hadn't had the imagination to contemplate as the way you were going to become who you were meant to be.
