Hello, Mary Catherine.

It's so nice to see you and hear you.

In fact, people might think, you know, much like Simon and Garfunkel, you know, when you're not listening to them, you assume that they're always hanging out together. No. And in fact, we just, you know, we have our own lives. We have our own families. We have our own work and everything. But it is very nice that we can reconnect here. And I just... Doing a podcast is very much like it's like an appointment for your friendship where it's like, oh, we just, we have to put this on the calendar. And then if we don't have that, we got to like do something else because we're not, we're not fitting it in. No, that's right. And in fact, but like many great friendships, it can be a long stretch of time, even months.

And once we pick up, it's like we just never left off.

And speaking of which, I would like to talk to you about the only story anybody is talking about right now.

And that is last night's Coldplay concert.

So you guys are going to get our dated, dated takes on everything.

Can you believe what were they thinking? Who were they? Okay, I will say this. Who was that couple?

Yes. I'm kidding. But I, as I spoke to you before we went on air, I would like to do a lightning round of all the

things that we missed. So we'll get to that later. If our listeners, if our listeners can indulge

me, us, you're on the air more than I'm not. I'm on the air once on the great Hugh Hewitt's show.

I will just say personally, I am fine. I am older now. When I go to the supermarket on Thursdays, I can't remember

if I mentioned this to you last time, the woman who works there, she'll actually say, hold on,

let me scan in your senior discount. And you know what? You know what? It all adds up 10 cents.

It's really, it's like 10 cents here 10 cents there so

i'll do that i've come to accept that the rest of the summer end of summer was great we had a

very very brief trip to the beach i went to a place called tommy's hot dogs you can look it up i just

want to say i i know there are some people who are very anti-hot-dog. They think it's gross.
