Blue Like Jazz was a book that I wrote when I was 29 and it sold over a million copies.

I still agree with everything's in it, but I know if I read it I would think one thing more than anything

else. I would have

have written a completely different book that wouldn't have sold

as much so you know I'm not 60 I have a decade to go until I get anywhere near that, but I'd rather be a hypocrite than to stay the same person forever.

And so I'd rather have written Blue Like Jazz rather than say, I'll wait till I'm 60 and then we'll see how I feel about this last season.

I think it's okay to go ahead and speak your voice now.
