My guest is Lee of Shriver, who is one of my favorite actors, one of the best actors

working, a filmmaker, a director, a writer, also of high, a highest order, and somebody

who we've both been working so much, so we haven't gotten to do it that much, but somebody

whatever I get to have dinner with him, I just have the best time, and really I'm excited

to get to have this conversation with microphones so everyone can hear the version of you

that people who know you and think the world are you, you know, get to see you, man.

So Lee have, and people you know, Lee have from Ray Donovan, and a million movies, you

know who he is.

Here's our want to start, can you, I've had a few friends, you know, I grew up on Long Island,

you and I are at the same age, I grew up on Long Island, coming to the city for me was

not just magical, but it was like going from the minor leagues to the major leagues.

Like when I would come in at 12 years old, I couldn't believe the way that New York City

kids got to like live and move around the city.

And I've had like guys like Dante Ross and Vin Diesel describe like the Westbeth adjacent

kind of artsy New York that you all grew up in, but I think folks don't really know about

it.

Could you just talk about what it looked like through a kid's eyes, like an artistic

kid's eyes, the New York that you moved to and grew up in from when you were three or

four years old on?
