I'm Andrew Weissman, and I'm here with Mary McCord.

Morning, Andrew.

So once again, there's a lot going on and we were just chatting about the theme for today.

And obviously, this is against the backdrop of the political world.

You know, we all watched the beginning of the real political season

with Iowa and I was struck by the number of people who said they believed that Joe Biden wasn't in fact properly elected.

So what we're going to talk about, since we're not political pundits is lies in the courtroom in other words that the

courtroom is a place where facts and law at least so far still matters and so we're going to talk about some of the things

that are going on in the courtroom.

In fact, there's so much going on,

but we're going to talk first about something

we just briefly alluded to last week, which was the civil fraud trial against Donald Trump and his sons and some other people who worked in the Trump organization.

That is the case brought by Letitia James,

the New York Attorney General,

and that's a case that is now fully completed

in terms of evidence, and we're waiting for

judging Goron to issue his decision which he

aspirationally said would be by the end of January and then of course Mary
