feature. And today in this episode, Samantha has some information for you from one of her many

Oracle decks.

So Samantha, dear, want to take it away?

So I just have this big basket of decks and I just randomly pulled this one out.

It was actually recommended to me by a listener a few years ago.

This one is called Mythic Oracle by Carissa Milato.

And I was just shuffling as you were talking to, and I picked

the card called Psyche is the Sacred Union.

And so the description talks about a little myth with Psyche, and she says,

Psyche was originally a mortal princess, but she ended up becoming the goddess of the soul

after completing tasks

given to her by Aphrodite.

In the myth of Eros and Psyche, Eros's mother, Aphrodite, who was jealous of Psyche's great beauty,

ordered Eros to make her fall in love with the ugliest man in grief.

Instead, Eros fell in love with her himself.

An Oracle told Psyche's parents she was not destined to be with a mortal man

and advised them to place her at the top of a mountain peak.

Her parents complied and a wind carried her away from the peak to a beautiful palace

where she lived with Eros in secret as his wife.

Eroch forbade Psyche to look at him and only came to her at night.
