and i don't hear ronda because ronda is actually not here today um i hope you're not too disappointed

she's actually very busy at the schaumburg Center of the library where she works,

working on various projects that I'm sure are no doubt exciting

and that she'll let us know about later on.

But she needed to take today off.

And well, not today off to take it off.

She's actually working really hard.

So it's just me,

I actually thought it would be a great idea

to invite a colleague in the New York Public Library

who could speak a little bit about

young adult books, which is not something that Rhonda and I read that often,

sometimes, but not as often as actually we probably like, and see what's going on in the

world of YAA. So I thought of one of the most glamorous individuals that I know, and her name is Susan She,

and she's a young adult librarian at the brand new Stavros-Niarkos Foundation Library, which was

once the Mid-Manhattan Library, the biggest circulating library in the New York Public Library system. It was supposed to have

a big grand opening in May and sort of know what happened there. But it is open now for a grab and go

service where people can pick up holes. And that's a good thing.
