about this story that fascinates me. So back in January of 2024, Diana Sanders was a passenger

aboard the Carnival Radiance, and according to the lawsuit,

she brought against the Carnival Corporation, which is the parent company of Carnival,

she was served approximately 14 tequila shots over an eight-hour period.

As one might expect, she got drunk, passed out, sustained some pretty severe injuries. She sued Carnival,

saying that their bartenders were negligent in not cutting her off. A jury eventually found

that Carnival was in fact negligent and that they should pay her $300,000, which, by the way,

is $50,000 more than she'd actually been seeking.
