Cynthia, you know, it's been a rough week.

I know that your nephew, so to speak, was recently sentenced.

Can you tell me about what happened?

Where do I begin?

The prosecution filed the sentencing memo.

And in their sentencing memo, they basically tried to retried Tim.

They also referenced a NPR article that was written a few months ago,

kind of disparaging him and me and the foundation.

And the prosecution really tried to weaponize

that NPR article against TIN,

even brought it up during their argument at sentencing.

At the last hour, the night before sentencing,

they even filed an addendum to their sentencing memo

to add as much as they possibly could

to give the judge pause, you know,

to give them the full seven and a half years. So the day of sentencing,

you know, we had another lawyer to argue Tim's very controversial case. And, you know, he did a really good job. He really argued very, very well. I mean,
