Welcome to Liberty Lifeline. I'm Sean Morgan. I'm here with Cynthia Hughes, founder of the Patriot Freedom Project. And we're going to discuss the recent trials of the Oathkeepers. You were there in D.C. weren't you, Cynthia? Yes. I was there for opening arguments. And then the first day of trial, when the government called their first witness, FBI agent, I don't remember his name right now.

Very interesting, very, very interesting what I witnessed.

Well, let's start from the beginning.

What was the first thing that stood out to you that was different from what you expected?

It wasn't just one thing.

It was multiple things, right?

So you had a very long opening statement by the prosecutor.

Let me set the scene for you.

You're in, let me set the scene for you. You're in this courtroom.

You walk in, you're facing the judge.

To the left, to the right of you, you have defendant, Stuart Rhodes, defendant Jessica

Walkins, defendant Kelly Mags, defendant Ken Harrelson.

And then you have their, you know, their legal teams. And you have about seven or eight

lawyers that are, you know, defending these people. So they each get up, you know,

after the prosecution makes his opening statement. they each get up to make their own

opening statement. And I think in a five-minute period, the prosecution must have objected 17 times.

And if the prosecution wasn't objecting, the judge was objecting himself. You have to wear a mask,

which is ridiculous. You have to wear a mask, which is ridiculous. You have to wear a mask. The judge is wearing a mask and literally talking to, you know, the people of the court through his mask. So just so ridiculous. So the, you clearly can see. I mean, we're only into, you know, today's day three,

because they didn't have court yesterday. Already they took the day off. Clearly you can see,

this is going to be an uphill battle.

All they did was show a ton of signal messages, messages of people really enjoying listening to themselves, you know, with their big personalities and, you know, their big words and

their, they're ridiculous rhetoric. And you want to put people in jail for words, you know,
