Today is what President Donald Trump is calling Liberation Day.

That is when the administration's large-scale tariffs and other countries go into effect.

Now I'll be going into what this means for the economy, for global relations, and for Americans.

But with this, expect some big shake-ups.

The tariffs could very likely lead to the cost of some goods to go up. Now the counter-narrative to that is it's going to be easier for American companies to compete with all these foreign products.

Liberation Day, President Donald Trump is referred to it as now arrived.

April 2nd today was slated as the day when the administration's large-scale tariffs on other countries go into effect.

And in response, many countries, whether it's in Europe or Canada or parts of Asia,

they're now looking to form new trade alliances to try to get around the United States.

The question is, can they do it because this deals with their exports, not necessarily imports?

Now President Trump is saying they'll be back and he intends to fight it out on the issue.

Now look, Trump gave a preview of what's to be expected during a press event in the Oval Office on Monday.

And we have some big things we're going to be announcing over the next two days.

And you know very well, Peter, and I think it's going to be something that's going to bring a lot of wealth back to our country, tremendous wealth back to our country, actually. And other countries

are understanding it because they've been ripping us for 50 years longer, but they've been ripping

us off for years right from the beginning. And I think this is going to be an amazing you know I call it a lot of

different names but it's really the in a sense it's a rebirth of a country because

what how we could have afforded to do what we did we help everybody and they don't

help us I really the term I like best probably is the liberation of America. It's the liberation

of this country because it's incredible. Look, we have 36 trillion in debt for a reason, and that
