All righty, hello again everyone and welcome to the Derek Hunter Podcast for the 25th of May 2021. Happy Wednesday.

I am Derek Hunter. I am your host listening to the screaming in the background until that the kids just got a bath and they're running around naked.

And trying to avoid their mother dressing them. I, like I say, I am Derek. I don't appreciate you listening just a note. I recorded this earlier in the day and then I took the kids around to cost.

I did a bunch of stuff and then came home and watched Better Call Saul and DVR and fell asleep after Better Call Saul.

I woke up to find the horrible news at a Rob Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

I watched the president speak. I tried to digest the news. I'll talk more about it tomorrow.

They already have a full show in the can, but I also need to, it's not the curse show.

And listening to that windbag douche president of ours, dance on the graves of more children is, is disgusting.

At a time when you could, we should, we need something in this country to sort of just a moment to go, we all agree this is universally terrible.

Instead, that bag of dicks decides that this is the time to score political points with his airheaded wife standing beside him, looking as vacant as she is.

And I just thought, God, I really, I can't, I can't not hold that man in contempt.

So I'm going to try to calm down and we'll address this tomorrow's show just because these people make me physically ill.

Anyway, so that being said, let's, let's start in boy howdy. Is that going to be a part of the curse show this Saturday?

But let's, let's just start the show. They're just one of those days where you're sitting there and it's not a big overarching story, but a whole bunch of little stories that you sit there and you go, what is wrong with these people? How do these people live with themselves? Where does it come from?

I want to start, I want to get to audio in a second. I just want jokingly, if you've ever written about or even tweeted about posted on social media about Jake Tapper, there's a decent chance, certainly better than average chance that Jake Tapper has come at you in the DMs.

He, I don't even remember what I said, it wasn't even making fun of him, it was making fun of something that went on his show. And he suddenly, it's like, oh, you got a DM from Jake Tapper and it was like 10 DMs from Jake Tapper. What the hell?

And he just went off randomly on me for not good nothing. It was like, dude, you're a little bit crazy.

Well, that's been a common occurrence amongst people on Twitter, especially people who write anything or tweet about Jake Tapper.

Well, now there's problems over and it's not that there's no joy in Mudville. There's nobody in Mudville, Mudville being CNN, nobody's watching CNN, but they, Jake Tapper is cause they firestorm.

And I always say this because it's the easiest rule in the world to remember. Don't be a jerk. I don't necessarily use the word jerk.

I use a word that starts with a D, but don't be a jerk. That's a pretty good rule of thumb to live by. If you're not a jerk, then most everything, it won't work out for you because it doesn't make life better or easier for you. It'll just make life more pleasant for you.

Jake Tapper can't follow that. He can't handle that.
