When Liam saw what was about to happen to the trees, he was horrified. He had to think of

some way to stop those woodcutters before they cut down all of his new friends. He ran up to the

woodcutter and yelled, No, you can ran up to the woodcutter and yelled,

No! You can't cut down the trees! And they said, get out of here, kid! We got work to do!

But Liam said, no, you can't! You can't cut down my friends! And he threw his arms

around one of the trees and wouldn't let go.

When he did this, the tree woke up out of a deep sleep and looked down to see what was

happening. And as he looked down, he saw two of the woodcutters pry Liam's arms off the tree

and start to carry him away. And when the tree saw what was happening,

he spoke up and said, excuse me, gentlemen, but please unhand the boy. The two loggers dropped

Liam and stared at the trees with their eyes wide open.

Did you just hear that tree talk to you?

One of them said to the other.

We better cut these things down before they say something else.

And so they walked up to the nearest tree and turned on their chainsaws.

And then one of the trees said,

And he grabbed the logger by his shirt and held him up high.

The logger screamed and yelled to the others.

This tree has gone crazy.
