I am Becca here with Jack and Kelty.

Hello, everyone. Welcome to my birthday episode.

I hate the passage of time, but I love the passage of time,

because I'm not to say I'm the best at recording life, but because I journal,

I have so much written nonsense about where I was at different points in my life mentally,

like that no one knows.

And so, you know, here I am, turning 41, and it's so fucking crazy to me that a year has passed

since my big 40.

And I truly, if you'd asked me on January 27th, like was, and I wrote about in the book,

devastated, turned 40, thought my life was over, was like, oh, my career's over.

This is like the best has been and what's coming will just be whatever.

And 40 was a very difficult year for me for a lot of things behind the scenes,

but it was the best king year.

I think Kelty at 40 is my favorite Kelty.

She is doing her best.

She's not perfect.

But like, I really liked 40, you know?
