Hey, Rob Maower here and today we're going to talk a little bit about

0:07.7

everybody Rob Maower here and today we're going to talk a little bit about

0:10.8

Tesla stock and then I've been getting a few questions over the last

0:13.2

couple of days about the performance of Tesla's lithium-iron phosphate batteries in the

0:18.0

standard-range-plus model 3 out of Shanghai. Of course this is a different battery

0:22.1

chemistry for Tesla.

0:23.4

Normally they would use nickel-cobalt aluminum.

0:25.9

So for the lithium-iron phosphate, there have been some reports that the performance is coming

0:30.2

NASDAQ again, the graphs directionally look pretty similar, but the NASDAQ finished

0:59.7

up about half a percent.

1:01.6

Just after market close, and as I'm recording here

1:03.4

Tesla has actually also announced that they have completed their five billion

1:06.5

dollar at the market capital offering as of December 9th. So basically what we

1:10.6

had talked about yesterday it's likely those shares were coming into market on both the eighth and on the ninth.

1:15.6

The stock price ranged from about $650 per share to $590 per share over that course of time.

1:21.6

So Tesla could have sold them at any price in that range, likely a lot of different prices in that range. I don't think we get the actual price until Tesla's next earnings report, but I'm guessing it'll probably be somewhere around you know 615 $620 on average which
