doing get involved in the professional game. Today I am joined by Amber Whiteley, Liverpool I see Women's

Assistant Manager. Amber, thanks for coming on today. How are you?

Yeah, I'm great. Thanks, Mike enough. Thanks to having me. It's a pleasure to be speaking to you.

So... having me it's a pleasure to be speaking to you. So obviously everyone knows that like as I mentioned

there is an intro you did the poor women's a system manager and you know I point I see you were the interim in charge you had it's quite a

quite a start since you've come to the approval but before we get on to all of that and

I'm looking forward to this season.

I've just weird the all-star for you in terms of your interest in the coaching game or

you know was it out of school or was it from some playing career or?

I suppose it's, first of all, it started with a love for the game.

So from being a little girl, I remember being obsessed with football so watching it on the

telly all the time and playing on the on the playground with all the boys at

primary school and then eventually I started to play for a team when I moved

into secondary school. My mom didn't want me to play so when I was in primary school and I couldn't

get myself like to training sessions and what have you in my local area.

I was really just limited to what I could do at school and then when I had a bit more independence

going into secondary school and I could get the bus to places

or get a lift with my mates and yeah I had the opportunity to go and play for a team then.
