Apparently quite the series of storms came rolling through the neighborhood last night, and I didn't hear one thing about it, not a siren, not the wind, not the heavy rain. Woke up this morning, took Cabo out, went out in the front yard, across the cul-de-sac from where we live. They're building another new house there. The porta-potty was blown over. I'm not walking over there. I don't know what, I don't want to know what happens. When the port-a-potty at the construction site gets blown over and toppled, it looks like it rolled a couple times as well. So we'll be staying away from that. But I guess it was a heck of a night of storms. And I don't know why I never heard a siren and didn't hear any rain and never felt anything,

but we hope you are safe.

Some 65,000 people in Kansas City lost power overnight.

This was a weird one.

95th Street is a pretty big corridor that runs east-west throughout Kansas City. And from about 95th and 435 in Lenoxa,

which is very close to where I live, all the way to state line and across, a series of small

tornadoes or bursts went rolling eastern straight down 95th Street. So there's a lot of video

cameras from traffic lights and signals of there's a bizarre one at 95th and Metcalf where the rain

is coming one direction. You can see it come down heavily. And then it spins and turns and goes

completely the opposite direction because something was making it spin and heavily. And then it spins and turns and goes completely the opposite direction

because something was making it spin and turn. You can't really see the tornadoes. We saw some

tree damage. Doesn't look like anybody died or any real serious injuries. But a strange night

of storms is something, you know, it's pretty rare. We see a lot of things, things hit rural areas. We see

rural smaller towns, whatever, that have tornadoes or damage. It looks like a series of these

just rolled right down 95th Street from basically Lenoxa to pretty far east out as far as Buckner,

Missouri, straight east. It was a crazy night of destruction and when we

assume that you're well. And some of you woke up and saw it and knew about it and some didn't.

And that includes me. I slipped right through it. So pretty strange. I was not up watching Gary Leesack

from NBC 41. I've known Gary for many, many years. We worked together in the

90s at Fox 4, and I saw him on Saturday. I was at a birthday party for my friend Frank
