Lex, thanks for joining us today.

We invited Jan to chat about some of your work and your research.

And you were just recently up in Vermont for our psychedelic dinner and storytelling event.

So we figured we'd invite you on and do a little wrap up with that with

symposium and storytelling event and, you know,

maybe recap some things and then, you know,

talk about some other topics of interest.

So, you know, it was really great for you to come up to Vermont and host a storytelling event.

How did you get into all this?

It actually came about really naturally.

And it really has more to do with my partners at Symposia.

Brett and Brian have been really big pushers of the events that Symposia did.

And so we started with a conference at UMass Amherst and then had another one the following

year and they weren't really well.

And we realized how much we enjoyed getting people from the psychedelic community out to hear from their elders and from

experts around. And so we start off with those big conferences and then things started to get

smaller and smaller. And we had our people on drug lecture nights and they would be really fun. Go to

Philadelphia and have Dennis McKenna speak and then have a storytelling event afterwards,

along with some other people.
