Lewis Black is his stature's only grown in my mind, a total, always been a legend, one

of our smartest comedians and commentators on what the fuck is going on in the world.

And Lewis, you know what's so great is like so much of the special, the subtext, there's

lots of subtext running through the new special is tragically I need you coming up May

second. So there's lots of subtext running through it, I'm going to ask you about lots

of it. But one thing is that we feel like we as a culture don't even bother making

the minimum fucking effort. And we get it. It's like some believable. Yeah, we don't want

it even make the smallest. And so you get rewarded. Now one gets rewarded for making the

minimal effort because I've seen this with people in the pack. I watched the whole fucking

special before having you on, man, because I did the minimum you're supposed to do, which

is, and I, I think that will separate me from 80% of the people you end up talking to

on the promo tour. Well, it's also amazing on the promo tour or what you do now when

you do interviews a lot of the time, especially radio, some, and what's left of newspapers

is that they, they haven't even read the Wikipedia page. You know, and it's kind of like

after, you know, it's, I've been doing it 40 years, 30, 40 years, and they go, and when

did you decide to get into comedy? It's, and why did you decide? It's like, seriously,

guys, I'm not, you know, it's, I get it when I'm, when I'm 40, but now I love the one

where, because I get interviewed when the next season of my show is coming on or whatever

the thing is, and my pet peeve is when they'd say, and I can imagine to you, why don't you

introduce yourself?

Do that, they've never done that to me, they, they're not, that's a foul, you know, tell
